Overview
Rotek graded density cartridge filter elements are manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene raw material and are suitable for most brands of housings designed for 4.5″ elements. The large diameter filters provide a high surface area and increased water flow compared with the 2.5″ diameter sizes and are suitable for whole-of-house or industrial applications where high flow or high sediment loads are encountered.
Rotek filter elements will not impart taste, odour or colour to the media being filtered. Polypropylene construction provides high chemical resistance and is not degraded by microbiological colonisation or attack.
Rotek large diameter filter elements are available in a variety of effective filtration sizes. All filter elements are a nominal 114mm (4.5″) outer diameter with a 25mm (1″) inner core and a double open-ended style. Standard lengths are 254mm (10″) and 508mm (20″) and these elements fit most commercially available housings without the need for additional end gaskets. Standard micron ratings are 1, 5, 10 and 20 micron (nominal) with other sizes available to special order. A range of polypropylene end adapters, gaskets, extended cores and polypropylene springs are also available for more specialised applications and housings.
